With Morgan James Publishing celebrating their 20th anniversary it felt like the perfect time for David to reflect on where the business has been and how it got here. The publishing industry has changed over the last two decades, and while we can't anticipate the challenges that are ahead for Morgan James Publishing, he knows they have learned a ton.

When David first stepped into the world of publishing, he wanted to create something unique while challenging the norms. There was a lot of excitement when Morgan James Publishing was founded in 2003. The business was driven by a passion to empower authors and offer them more flexibility and speed to market. He knew that he wanted to provide a personalized experience with a traditional feel, but also allow authors to retain ownership and control over their intellectual property.

Many authors start feeling frustrated and discouraged by the lack of collaboration from publishers. Despite their efforts to build strong author-publisher relationships, they just seem to get nowhere. Unfortunately, they aren't alone. That is what lead to the founding principles at Morgan James Publishing.

Throughout the years, the vision persisted, continuing to make decisions together with the authors while focusing on their big picture. As credibility, distribution, and opportunities for the authors increases, David remains grateful for the support and growth of Morgan James Publishing.
